The Oyo state House of Assembly has on Friday confirms the caretaker chairman nominee from Ogbomoso South Local Government, Mr. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy

The earlier rejected caretaker chairman nominee from the Ogbomosho South Local Government, Mr. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy was reconsidered and confirmed by the house committee on local government and chieftaincy matters chaired by Hon. Ademola Popoola, after he has fielded question from honourable members and gone through duly reassessment.

The re-screening is consequent upon a letter by Governor Seyi Makinde addressed to the Assembly, and read at Thursday’s plenary, that Oyedokun be re-screened.

Recall that the Oyo state House of Assembly in her screening of the Caretaker Chairmen nominees for the local governments and LCDAS round the State had queried and disqualified Mr Timothy Oyeniyi Oyedokun whose name was forwarded to the house as Caretaker Chairman nominee for Ogbomoso South local government.

The Oyo state house of Assembly has on Friday passed to law the total of 213,278,033,200.97k (Two hundred and thirteen Billion, two hundred and seventy – eight million, thirty three thousand, two hundred naira, and ninety seven kobo) as the Oyo state Budget and Appropriation Bill for 2020 fiscal year.
